Whether it is for Easter, a weekend or you are thinking of renting a flat for your holidays, the offer we offer you is undoubtedly the best. Calpe enjoys an average annual temperature of 18º which is ideal for enjoying its beaches. There are many activities you can do: hiking, climbing, cycling, kitesurfing, fishing, golf… But as the heat is gradually returning, what you want most is to go to the beach. That’s why we’re going to reveal the fourteen beaches and coves you’ll find in this paradise on the Costa Blanca.

Beaches and coves of fine sand

Perfect for strolling, doing sport or simply enjoying the sea. If you hate rocks and pebbles, the fine sandy beaches are for you. Arena-Bol and La Fossa are the most popular and crowded. Arena-Bol Beach

Located in the urban area of Calpe, with street access, the Arena-Bol beach stands out as one of the most visited beaches in the municipality. Its calm waters are perfect to enjoy with children and it is delimited by a promenade where you can enjoy a wide range of services such as restaurants, ice-cream parlours and cafes. It has been awarded the Blue Flag.

La Fosa

To the north of the Peñón de Ifach, near the Salinas de Calpe, we find the beach of La Fossa, also known as Levante beach. An urban beach, with street access and delimited by a well-kept promenade where you can enjoy restaurants, pubs and shops. It has also been awarded the Blue Flag.

Cala del Morelló

Located on the Infanta Elena promenade, next to the Torre del Molí, after which it is named, we find this small cove of fine sand. From this cove we can access the Baños de la Reina (Queen’s Baths), a set of structures from the Roman period that housed an old fish farm.

Playa Cantal Roig

Junto al puerto pesquero, disponiendo de acceso por calle, se sitúa la playa Cantal Roig. Una pequeña y tranquila cala desde la que podrás contemplar la llegada de los barcos al puerto y degustar la gastronomía local en los restaurantes de alrededor. Cuenta con el distintivo Bandera Azul.

Beaches and pebble coves

Next to the fishing port, with street access, is Cantal Roig beach. A small, quiet cove from where you can watch the boats arrive at the port and enjoy the local gastronomy in the surrounding restaurants. It has been awarded the Blue Flag.

Cala Calalga

Next to the Calalga park, at the end of the north side of La Fossa beach, this curious cove of fine sand and pebbles surprises us with the vegetation that accumulates on its rocks. We can access it via a ramp located on the pedestrian walkway.

Puerto Blanco

Located next to the Puerto Blanco marina, with the same name, we find this small cove of pebbles and coarse sand that stands out for its calm and crystalline waters.

Les Urques

To the south of the coast, also close to Puerto Blanco, is Cala Les Urques. Perfect for enjoying the sea with your pet, as it is a dog-friendly beach.

La Manzanera

Next to the Urbanización La Manzanera we find this small cove from where you can enjoy the view of the recognisable buildings of the architect Ricardo Bofill.

El Racó

This small cove is located at the foot of the Peñón de Ifach. Known for its underwater path, perfect for diving, unique in the Comunitat Valenciana. The Príncipe de Asturias ecological walk starts from El Racó.

Cala del Penyal

A natural cove with transparent waters. It can be reached by a small path on the north face of the Peñón de Ifach.

Cala del Mallorquí

This small cove can be reached from the Voramar path. From the Mallorquí cove we can make out a beautiful view of the north face of the Rock.

Cala Les Bassetes

Small and quiet cove located next to the marina of Les Bassetes formed by pebbles and a rocky platform.

Coves accessible only by sea

Finally, to the south of Calpe we find El Collao and Gasparet, two coves of pebbles that can only be accessed by sea, with views of the silhouette of the Sierra de Toix mountain range, perfect for diving and fishing.
